Did you spend your vacation where many others did this last year?

More people extend their vacations. Well, at least that what MasterCard’s presentation for travel trends in 2024 shows. According to the travel trend report, leisure travelers added an extra day, as seen in March 2024 for the trailing 12 months from March 2023, compared to the 12 month period between March 2019 and March 2020.

Ireland also showed up in the top 10 destinations in 2023, whereas Italy and Spain came in four and five in the top 10 list of destinations . As usual, these sunny destinations  are hot spots in summertime for travelers from the north seeking the sun.
